I posted a couple of weeks ago that I was taking a blogging break. I’m still technically on that break, though I will likely try to put up some guest blogging posts. If any of you bloggers out there would like to have a guest spot on my blog, let me know. I have space available. 
Many bloggers who take breaks or have long lags of time in between posts do so without feeling any need to say anything about it. But, for me, consistent with who I am I guess, I’m not one of those people. A little blurb here and there to communicate what’s going on seems helpful to me. So, consider this one of those blurbs. I’m still here but won’t be back for a while yet.
Sometimes life presses on you so much that you just have to pay attention and take care of the business at hand. I don’t like to see the traffic on my blogs dwindle to drops here and there, but, frankly, life outside of blogging land is more important right now.
Success in life, no matter what you are talking about, requires that the proper approach and method be applied. You don’t begin a two story house from the top down or even from the middle. You begin at the bottom, laying the foundation. Trying to build up a successful blog (which I love doing) can’t really happen when so many other more fundamental things are not in their proper place. Yeah, I can ignore those things and keep on blogging, but I’m afraid the cost would be too great. Not to mention, success would really only be marginal, since all of the other nuts and bolts of life are not fastened down properly. The chance of the wheels falling off increases exponentially.
I’m the queen of metaphor and hyperbole, I know. It’s my way of speaking - mainly because it’s much more interesting intellectually - but, I think you all get my drift. See, there I go again. I just can’t help myself.
I have no idea when I will return to blogging. I may only continue to check in periodically to let you all know that I’m still around and will be back. I have no intentions of abandoning my blogs. I will return. One day. It may be several weeks. I do not know. If you all need to contact me, again, as I have said many times, feel free. I will answer any and all contacts within 24 hours if possible.
