Nora Ephron says that as a White House intern in 1961, she felt neglected, overlooked — virtually ignored. Nora Ephron's new book is a satire on aging. Not only was she not approached sexually by President Kennedy — she didn't even have a desk, Ephron joked, adding that she was forced to "lurk in hallways." So this Wellesley political science major didn't go into politics. Instead, she went into journalism.
