The symptoms are of Urinary tract infection (UTI), or other disease of the urinary tract.
In most cases, bacteria first begin growing in the urinary tract. An infection limited to the urinary tract is called urethritis.
An penis infection occurs when microorganisms, usually bacteria from the digestive tract, cling to the urethra walls and begin to multiply.
Most penis urinary infections arise from one type of bacteria, Escherichia coli (E. coli), which normally lives in the colon.
From there bacteria often move on to the bladder, causing a bladder infection (cystitis).
If the penis urethra tract infection is not treated promptly, bacteria may then go up the ureters to infect the kidneys (pyelonephritis).
Anytime you have burning pain of the penis it is serious and you should see a doctor.
