What could be causing back pain after 20 days of treatment for kidney infection?

Posted by ewiese

I have been treated with antibiotics for a kidney infection for the last 20 days, and have recieved both a CAT scan and a bladder scope that revealed no stones. My latest urine test looks clean, but I am still experiencing nausea and significant pain on my lower right back. My Doctors are stumped... Any idea what could be causing the pain, and how to treat it?

Continue to do testing to find out what is wrong.

Have them check your liver enzymes and liver function.

Have them check for cancer.
