Working out is always important for better conditioning of the body. Workout not only helps to retain a
good physique and figure, it also helps to stay healthy. Workout ensures proper blood flow in all parts of
the body, as well as tones the muscles. A healthy body is where a healthy mind resides, and thereby a fit
and healthy body helps you to have a healthy frame of mind as well.
Jogging and swimming are the best and evergreen workouts till date, but they are also a little time
consuming. In case you don’t have enough time for them, or access to a good jogging stretch or a pool,
here are a few evergreen workout tips.
1. Back Stretching:
First lock your pinkies or the little fingers under your thumb. Then stand straight and slowly stretch your
arms out to the side of your shoulders. Keep the feet touching the ground completely. Slowly arch your
back and keep stretching your arms.
In case you start feeling dizzy, straighten the body gently. Also see a doctor as the dizziness may be
indicating some circulatory problem.

After completing the stretching, loosen your body and take your left or right foot in your hands, and
straighten it out. This should be done standing on the alternate leg. It is important to keep the legs
straight. Balance yourself and hold the position for a couple of minutes, before changing the leg and

This helps you to use your sense of balance and your body coordination to improve.
3. Twisting the pelvis:
Spread your legs apart and stand. Then spread your arms, and bend down. Keep the spread arms
parallel to the floor. Now twist your body to the left and touch your left foot with your right hand. Stay
for a couple of seconds and then touch the right foot with your left hand. Keep doing this in an alternate
manner for 50 times to start with. Slowly increase the pace and number later on.
After completing this, stand straight and put your heels together. Then slowly bend down and touch the
floor with both your palms. It is ok to part the toes to a maximum of sixty degrees. Then gently straighten
up. Repeat this at least five times. This workout will help you to have that hourglass shape quite easily.
Moreover it will tone your arms and legs as well.

Stand in a half chair position, assuming that you are sitting at the edge of a chair. You can keep your
hands straight in front of you or cup them in front of the pelvis as well. Breathe deeply and exhale deeply
as well. Do this for two to five minutes. Slowly increase the time as this gives more strength to your legs.
This exercise will help you shape up those beautiful legs, and also help them strengthen.
Most important part is relaxing your body properly after any workout. If you do not rest properly and relax
your body this might cause irreparable damage to the body. This exercise helps the body o relax and
regain your focus for your daily chores. It is actually exercising the mind that controls everything.
Lie down on your back while you stretch your arms and legs. Keep your arms close to your body. Try to
keep your mind blank and think of inspiring or good thoughts. This will calm your mind and body. Better
not to fall sleep.

Chi, Yoga is popular because of their simplicity and effectiveness as well. Swimming and jogging are also
