Allergic reactions, congenital malformations, and nutritional deficiencies all can cause tongue swelling. Drugs, infections, diseases, injuries and tumors can also cause similar symptoms to the tongue and tonsiles.
The best advice is to see your physician for a complete evaluation.

My tongue is swollen underneath the right side all the way back. Also I have either my tonsils or lymph node swelling right under my chin where the area of my tongue is swollen it's def. more than an inch big so I'm guessing its the tonsils?. I'm also not sick or haven't been sick anytime soon.
