I was told at the er i had an ankle sprain with slightly torn ligaments. The swelling has been moslty reduced. There is dark blue behind the base of the ankle and on the side. I can now stand straight up on it but not put walking pressure on it yet.
i dunno if its normal but i have the exact same thing ... sprained it a week ago ... from searching online it seems the best thing you can do for a sprained ankle is no running or sports for 4-6 weeks and to make sure to do some kind of rehabilitation exercises so that your ankle doesnt become stiff and prone to injury in the future
