severe shaving problems-any alternative methods?

For over a year now I have been having an incredibly tough time shaving. Back in December of 2008, it got really bad and my dermatologist who I had been seeing regularly, and still am, diagnosed me with infected hair follicles in my face, or follicular eczema. I was given creams, lotions, and chemical solutions to get rid of it, but it never really helped. It's not as bad, but my face still hurts from shaving, and it's a very difficult, time consuming process for me. I have to use an electric razor because a blade razor almost ruined my skin. I've even gotten my face waxed once, which helped, but the results were not very long lasting. I'm curious if there is anything like a cream, pill or something, that can kill the follicle, or something that can help me with my extreme facial sensitivity. I'm going to see a different dermatologist soon, but I'd like some sort of idea before I go in there with my story. Is there anything I can do where I will not have to shave every morning? Is there a cream or pill that inhibits facial hair growth? Is th
