red spots on abdomen after mesh stomach hernia repair

3 months ago I had diastasis and ventral hernia repair 4 inches above my navel.

Laproscopic method.   I have some red spots that come and go in intensity

where the mesh was stapled (using the spiral wires) from the inside.

 Can these wires be coming to the outer surface of my abdomen??
