Posted by pazhanipadma

dear Wellsphere,

I am a  67 yrs old male.

It is 9 months since i underwent  the procedure of EVAR  (endo vascular aneurysm  repair) i regard to an aneurysn in my left iliac artery. It was done May 2010 at a hopsital in my town of Coimbatore , Thamih Naadu state in India.

But, post procedure, it has been my experience that that Ia m unable to walk in normal pace after 250 steps. Pains occur in my pelvix area of rear hip.  Not in my normal  cirucmstances. Only when i exert my legs  that I get the pains. During procedure, out of two atrtereis to my left lef, the other artery is coiled  and the one with anerurysm is treate by evar  procedure.

I ahve bene regularly taking medcines prescribed . But why the occuring of pains in my pelvix area when i walk ?

thank u so much dear Rxblogger! The problem is owign to this pain I am NOT able to resume my morngin walk of 5 kms daily which i was wont to do before anuerysm was detected in the last quarter of 2009. I was cautioned that there was a "ticking time bomb" underemnath my belly and hence I dtopepd my walking practice. Pots EVAR procedure I am not able toi resume the walking practice and  I fear if other physical exercises like the ones  u have recommended (stretching  exercises) may not be possible to be done. But I will try and let u know, Sir. Thnak u again-Pazhanipadma at 04:29 am ist on 27th Fbe 2011
