pain

in the last 2 days ive had pain under my arm pitt,why?

what type of gland is located there and what would be any known sickness

tied to this symptom.

An underarm (armpit) swelling or mass symptom described as "Underarm pain" is most likely related to swollen underarm lymph nodes, of which there are numerous causes. Other possiblities include a skin lump that appears under the arm, such as an infected skin follicle in underarm hair. Less likely is a particular local underarm condition.
