I am feeling pain from my shoulders to my wrist on both arms and it comes with a burning sensation in my hands and when I grab heavy things it feels like my shoulders tremors (?), I don't work out, I don't do much exercise. I had brain MRI two weeks ago and it was all good. This started on friday, I have been taking anti inflamatory medice but they just don't do nothing. Any ideas before I spend 13 hours in a hospital? (I am from Portugal btw)
I'm sorry but I'm not sure I understand the sequence of events. Why did you have a brain MRI two weeks ago? Then after this normal brain MRI, your arms started to bother you as noted above? And why are you planning to spend 13 hours in a hospital?
From what you've described, I'd be more interested in examining your neck with an MRI or at least a CT. Specifically, I want to see your spinal cord and be sure nothing is touching it like a herniated disk.
You should also ask about getting nerve conduction velocity and electromyogram tests performed to evaluate your nerves & muscles.
Some vitamin deficiencies and even diabetes can cause pain & burning so some simple blood work is in order.
PS Once you recover from all this, start exercising. It's never too late to start and there are tremendous benefits all around.
