Nosebleeds can occur spontaneously when the nasal membranes dry out and crack. If you sniffle you will break them open again. If you apply either some sort of lip gloss or vaseline to the inside of your nose it also will help keep it soft.

The following factors predispose people to nosebleeds:

- Infection (sinus)
- Trauma, including self-induced by nose picking
- Allergic and non-allergic rhinitis
- Hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Use of blood thinning medications
- Alcohol abuse
- Less common causes include tumors and inherited bleeding problems.

Your other symptoms may be caused by the nose bleed or something else may be causing all symptoms to happen.
Check with a doctor if your nose bleed continues.

This happens to me from time to time, I get a severe headache and after a few hours my nose bleeds and it feels a bit better. Yesterday we were working in very hot weather and while I was sleeping my nose started bleeding. When I woke up my head still hurt and my nose started bleeding again. Should I be concerned, this has been happening off and on for about 3 years.
My friend Camille had severe headaches followed by nosebleeds, also, and she was diagnosed with leukemia. By no means am I saying you have leukemia, but you really should have it checked out and perhaps an MRI done. If everything is okay there, try going to a chiropractor. If you have a bone out of place or a disc problem, a chiropractic adjustment certainly could help if not cure the problem completely!
I enjoyed following the whole entry, I always thought one of the main things to count when you write a blog is learning how to complement the ideas with images, that's exploiting at the maximum the possibilities of a ciber-space! Good work on this entry!
