Laugh It up | Men, Women, Punctuation and Perception

You didn’t think I was going to let you go an entire Monday without a laugh, did you? Of course not! In the Internet world, perception of words is difficult without proper punctuation. If you haven’t written anything since high school or didn’t pay enough attention, you tend to forget the basics…as you can probably tell if you’ve been reading Healthandmen for awhile now. My punctuation and grammar is rough, but it gets better everyday. So what happens when someone types something and doesn’t apply proper punctuation? It can lead to arguments, flaming or just about anywhere. For instance…
An English teacher wrote these words on the whiteboard: “woman without her man is nothing”. The teacher then asked the students to punctuate the words correctly.
The men wrote: “Woman, without her man, is nothing.”
The women wrote: “Woman! Without her, man is nothing.”
