Increased Drinking May Increase Your Risk For Erectile Dysfunction.

Increased drinking may increase your risk for Erectile Dysfunction. Kind of, sort of, maybe. In fact I’m not sure what this article is exactly saying. Is there increase of ED risk for men who drink more than moderate amounts of alcohol or not.

The finding that alcohol consumption within the current guidelines for low-risk drinking was associated with lower odds of ED provides rationale for counseling alcohol drinkers with ED in day-to-day clinical practice. Men with ED need not harbour a sense of guilt about their past or current drinking if they consume alcohol within guidelines.

So after reading this twice to myself and once more out loud, I’m coming to the conclusion that they think alcohol consumption may be a factor in Erectile Dysfunction, but they aren’t sure enough to actually make an official call. Bottom line is that moderate drinking of alcohol is as usual encouraged over binge drinking. Duh.
