I get a numbing sensation in my uper right thigh when i walk that turns into a feeling that hot pins are being iserted

the pain starts after i have walked for a while. an area gets numb, then it feels like I am being stuck with hot needles in the same ares, repeatedly, and that area keeps getting bigger and more painful til i sit down. I is only in the right leg, and only when I am walking. not just standing

any suggesions

The same thing happens to me.  When I walk (only walk) both of my outer thighs get numb.  It is so weird.  I am a diabetic with no health insurance so I guess I'll just deal with.  Good luck in finding a diagnosis.
