for the past 10 days i have been feeling thirsty all the time, drinking alot of fluids and urinating alot. i am a 40 yr old male and have a stressful job.  my father suffers from diabetes, i ve also been feeling fatigued and occassionaly have some pain in my chest that feels like a chest infection but clears up on its own after a while. i went for a urine test and my blood sugar was 11.5 but was told to go again without eating any food in the morning. i am not losing weight.

Possible medical conditions
Your constant thirst and urinating alot may be a sign of something serious. You could have one of many conditions, including the following:

-Hyperglycemia (high blood sugar)
-Diabetes.
-Diabetes insipidus (an imbalance in the body's water level)
-A kidney disorder (such as Fanconi's syndrome)
-Dehydration
-Liver disease (such as hepatitis or cirrhosis)
-A bleeding disorder (such as intestinal bleeding)
-Burns or an infection

You should do more tests.
