HARD, RED, PAINFUL, SWOLLEN UPPER ARM-POSSIBLY SPIDER BITE

MY SON'S LEFT BICEP IS HARD, AND SWOLLEN, PAINFUL AND HE HAS A LOW GRADE FEVER, SAYS HE DIDN'T STRETCH IT OR HURT IT IN ANY WAY, AND I WAS WONERING IF IT COULD POSSIBLY BE A SPIDER BITE OR SOMETHING ? HE CANNOT STRETCH IT OUT STRAIGHT OR LIFT UP HIGH.

It probably could be a spider bite. Being HARD, AND SWOLLEN, PAINFUL AND HE HAS A LOW GRADE FEVER is a sign of some kind of infection. I would take him to a doctor as soon as possible.
