Itching causes could be heat rash from excessive sweating, poor hygiene, infection or other skin condition.
You can get over the counter anti-itch skin cream at the drugstore until you see a doctor.
Ditto! Try your diet and maybe look into food allergies, or foods that cause inflammation (generally wheat gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, alcohol, etc). I've had random itching all over for 20 years and am now trying it as a last resort. Ice packs seem to help too, as well as taking a NSAID pain reliever vs. Benedryl. For some reason, it helps a lot more than any allergy related meds or creams ever did. Good luck!
