Filipino Prisoners Return with Michael Jackson Tribute

You might remember a few years ago when the talented inmates at the Philippine’s Cebu Detention and Rehabilitation Center gained international notoriety when they created a viral rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” (you can see that here ) that garnered over 26 million views on YouTube. Well, now that Jackson has died, they’re back with a special tribute performance.
According to CNN, the 1,400 prisoners practiced for ten straight hours, finally breaking at 3 am to rest for the performance. At the prison, inmates dance for five hours a day and you can see they’ve gotten pretty good:
