I was diagnosed with sarcoidosis about 3 years ago. It appears to be a static condition in my lungs, with an elevated ACE level on all recent blood tests. I am able to exercise and have a reasonably healthy/active life stlye. However, one complication has been uveitis (swelling of the retina in the left eye). My doc's treat the eye with periodic steroid injections to the eye; other than that they have no other treatments that offer the potential for total remission. Any suggestions???
