If you own an iPod (and really who doesn’t nowadays?), chances are you also own a dock to play your music at home. Unfortunately, most iPod docks are not nearly as stylish as the iPod itself. The David Wiener Collection has designed the new Art.Station iPod dock to look as cool as the device you put in it.
The Art.Station is crafted from a block of solid aluminum and looks great. It features DWC•Aphex, an exclusive audio-enhancing circuit originally developed for the recording industry. I’m not sure exactly what it does, but DWC•Aphex is supposed to sound great.
The luxury iPod dock also lets owners charge their iPods or iPhones and play them through any stereo or powered speaker system and improve the system’s performance at the simple flip of a switch. It also includes RCA input jacks so that users can also enhance the audio from Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo systems, satellite radio, cable converter boxes, computers and any another other audio source of choice.
This luxury does not come cheap. The Art.Station costs $499.95, quite a bit more than comparable docking stations. If you’ve got the money, you can find out where to order an Art.Station at the David Wiener Collection.
