Pain within the testes generally arises from disorders of the testicle and/or the epididymis.

The most common pain causes include trauma, torsion (twisting of the spermatic cord, or appendix testis, or appendix epididymis), inflammation--particularly of the epididymis, varicocele (cluster of dilated blood vessels or spermatic veins),  hydrocele (collection of fluid within the scrotal sac), cysts and testicular tumors.

Sometimes rough or over-masturbation can cause injury to your testicle. If that's the case, then stop masturbating until it's not aching anymore.

If the pain goes up into the abdomen it may be a sign of a hernia.

Check with your doctor for a correct diagnostic of your symptoms.
