Alzheimer’s Disease is a brutal and devastating disease. As the disease begins, a patient may get lost (in the car) on the way to a familiar location, such as the local drug store. As the disease progresses, the patient will start forgetting the names of close relatives. It’s not just a disease of the elderly. Sometimes Alzheimer’s strikes younger men and women.
If you’re a baby boomer, you may have a parent or grandparent who suffers from this disease.
