Meditation helps to calm and focus the mind and has been found to reduce stress experienced in everyday life. Pranayam -simple breathing exercises- will be taught to prepare body and mind for meditation. This 30 minute meditation session is free and open to all (not just moms!). Donations are encouraged and will benefit the Womens Self Reliance Program (WSRP), a program that helps women in developing countries achieve self-reliance so that they and their children can enjoy the basic human rights of comfort, safety and health and help create a society where all can live in peace and harmony.
