I saw my first client in April 2003 in a spare bedroom in the Midtown apartment where I resided. I remember thinking how anxious and excited I was to be starting a new career path. That year was a real challenge to me emotionally and financially, as I had never had to get out there and do marketing and sales and book clients before. In my previous life as a computer programmer, other people brought the business in to the company, and I just did my job. So it was a real change.
Four years later, after going back to school for more training, I ended up in an office in Union Square in San Francisco. My practice started growing and I started thinking about the future, and how I wanted to extend my practice reach beyond my own hands. But those plans were slow to grow, and in 2010 my mother passed away. More change.
Now back in Sacramento, and along with my partner, taking care of my dad. A new office, and a more proactive approach to my practice and business has enabled me to grow my business.
And it’s all thanks to you. Because of your trust, this year will promise to be a great year. I’m hiring new therapists, offering new services, and reaching out to help more people live with less pain.
