Okay, I know this is probably a dumb question for those who know the answer, but I don't so....
Why is it that boxers can handle so many of those blows to the head and normal folk have to run right to the hospital if we get hit in the head? This doesn't make any sense to me... someone explain?
16 oz. of padding. Those boxing gloves make a huge difference. the boxing glove has the effect of spreading the entire energy of the blow over a larger surface area as well.
