Back Pain

Posted Aug 25 2008 3:08pm 1 Comment
The first week after surgery I was in pain but it was not in my knee. I had back pain. My lower back hurt enough to make it difficult to get up from a chair. I remember that during my first week of PT I had trouble doing the straight leg raise. I could barely move with the pain in my lower back. On my second session of PT I had an ice treatment on my elevated knee and a heat treatment on my lower back. My PT examined my back and my right side was out of balance. I was told to do some stretching for my back and in about a week the pain was gone. Lately my right hip and right lower back have been bothering me. I have been doing more strengthening exercises and I have just started sparring again. I may be overdoing it a bit.

Hi just wondering if anyone may have a simular problem symtem or just suggestion. 03 I had a Thorasic fusion T-8 to T-9 after 2 months back pain was gone. I had been split between the corasponding ribs pryed apart lung deflated to access spine. Ended up with colateral damage frontal lower rib pain. Debilitating pain that in 6 year has gotten no relief, I have had epadurals, radio frequincy, intercoastal nerve blocks, poison, electcusion of nerves. Nothing has had a lasting effect some from the proceedure roon to the recovery others 10 days. I have been in the pain clinic trap, now after a few Corvettes or BMW's thrown to the side. Norco and Valumn help me tolorate but no joy no goals no energy no concern for the future. I will take any suggestion seriously if you have any input please share. Thanks for thaking the time to read. ThoraxPainMan
