While my goal is to qualify for Boston and I am approaching this goal by not training too hard too fast, I am now injured. The injury is not running / training related but sports related. I play ice hockey once a week and recently, I suffered a hip injury colliding with an opposing player while chasing the puck. Needless to say, this has terminated my running while I rehab. I can, however, do other fitness related activities (Elliptic trainer, bike, swimming etc)...and I will continue to give support to others where I can.
Injuries are a bummer but listening to your body and doing what's necessary to recover is one key to not letting it get you down.
