
The stereotypical sign is a "Bull's Eye Rash". It looks like a red, swollen spot with a ring around it of a similar color. However, the absence of a rash is not always indicative of presence of infection. If you think he was bitten, rash or not, have him tested by a Lyme Literate Doctor, pronto.

My 3 year old son has a red dot on the back of his neck that is slightly pink around it. I want to know if this is a tick bite.
