I repainted the face and roughed in a new body on my Lyme painting, I didn't like the arms so I reshaped them. I can only work on it in short spurts mostly because it really flairs up my pain but also because of the fatigue. I was hoping to work on shading the body today but I am just too tired so it will have to wait till Monday after our open studio event this weekend is over
I have not been on the yahoo silk painters group in a while and today I am getting a huge outpouring of love, support and prayers from my silk painting friends.
I was very excited about the new meds until I actually took the first one today and then I got a lot of anxiety remembering my last few reactions and trips to the hospital. Then Don said to me “Don’t allow those thoughts, you have hundreds of people praying for you. You will not have a bad reaction this time” When I got home I had all of these emails from people who have been my silk painting friends for years on the yahoo group so I feel like I know them well. The outpouring of support brought tears to my eyes. You guys are wonderful!
We are part of an open studio tour this weekend and Don will be the host as people visit my studio. I am hoping to feel well enough to pop in and out of the studio to visit with people. Since I have not been able to do silk painting lately this will be a great way for me to feel back in touch with my silk art again. I will post photos of the studio tour after the weekend.
Much love and gratitiude to all of you from both Don and I.
Be Well,
Linda
