This could be my husband and myself the past couple of days. Circumstances have us in a funk. It would be easy to jab at each other and criticize each other when we are BOTH in a funk. Instead, I confessed to Joel ~ I am a "crabby bear"........and my dear, so are you! Of course this was not a secret! I'm grumpy...he's grumpy.....it kinda shows. But when we bring it out in the open it helps so much to keep it in perspective. When I saw this Maxine cartoon I had to laugh...maybe what Joel and I need to do while going through this rough patch right before Christmas is to make our own gingerbread men.....so that we can grab one when necessary and bite their heads off instead of each other's....sounds like a good plan to me!
