my husband is a 28 yo healthy male who works outside as a lineman. he frequently gets ticks off him and has no previous health history. we live in east tn area and he was recently dx with rmsf after two weeks of petechia on legs and no other apparent symptoms never a fever. after finishing doxycycline for fourteen days we went back 2wks later to repeat blookwork and he still is testing positive. so now back on doxycylcine. is this normal?
