I have a white ring that is very faded around a tick bite, the tick was on for 1 - 2 hours, should I seek help?

Absolutely, although regular docs will usually do nothing, but push the issue. Tell them you insist that you get at least 3 weeks of doxycycline cuz you don't want to take any chances.
