My heart and faith lies with the Lord. God gave us wonderful, strong bodies; our bodies are His temples. And for those of us who have accepted Him, He lives in us and wants to live through us.
Galatians:2:20 My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Our Lord doesn’t desire our bodies to be ill; he needs our bodies to be strong with endurance so that we can go out among the many to tell of Him and follow His will. He does not choose to exist in a sick and unhealthy body; therefore, it is important that we take care of our bodies with exercise and nourishment —both spiritually and physically—so that when our bodies are invaded, they will be able to sustain themselves.
My body was invaded and is no longer strong, but GOD IS!
My health is no longer good, but GOD IS!
My mind and thoughts are not always holy, but GOD IS!
I fail to carry grace and patience for myself and the situation, but GOD DOES!
I, nor my physicians, can heal me, but GOD CAN and HE WILL DO IT FULLY!
