Herxheimer Reaction

I have been having a pretty nasty Herxheimer reaction since I upped the dosage on my antibiotics. I was so sick and had so much pain the last couple of days that I just wanted to sleep. My LLMD said it is a classic Herx reaction from the die off of the Lyme spirochetes poisening my body and could last for weeks, months or even years. He said there are a lot more medications that he is going to add before we are done and that this is a journey that will take years. I am tired and Don is tired but we know there will be good days too so we look forward to them along the way
