I just read an article on Lyme that came in by email. What stood out for me was this statement:
"I think that people with chronic Lyme Disease are some of the gutsiest people around. After reading the personal success stories of a number of people who are beating Lyme, it appears that courage is an ingredient they all have in common." (Lyme is only one of many debilitating illnesses where courage is needed!"
A I read this tonight, my first thought was: "Today I feel more like the cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz, and I don't want to follow the long Yellow Brick Road to Recovery. " It is too scary. Then I remembered that the Cowardly Lion did not go down the road alone....he had others to encourage and support him on the way.
