Do you have bladder pain? Wonder why? What is causing it? I thing we all do. We wonder if it is the Lyme in our bladders, the pelvic floor disfunction, the inflammation, bladder endometriosis, nerve entrapment or is it something entirely different?
I have had bladders pain since 2009.My goal is to beat strengthen my immune system and to beat this infection. I have tried antibiotics, homeopathy, naturopathic treatments, and have recently added herbs and acupuncture to my protocol. . I have seen a little improvement with homeopathic medicine. My bladder doesn't hurt as much, but my pelvic floor area continues to experience pain. My mind is always running full circle trying to determine what's the cause. It typically runs full course
"I know have Lyme that can effect the muscle groups, including pelvic floor . . .The Lyme has caused a Bartonella-like infection which many ICers have . . .The antibiotics don't seem to be helping . . . so is it due to my pelvic floor disorder? . . .Is the inflammation due to the infection or is it due to irritated PF muscles?. . . Should I try pelvic floor therapy again? . . . How long should I be on homeopathy? . . .Is the pain due to nerve problems? . . .What can I add to my protocol specifically for bladder healing?" . . . and on and on, until I am right back at, "I know I have an infection, let's get rid of this first." It can be emotionally exhausting.
I go through this every day, many times a day. Honestly, I don't know the answer to the problem. Everyone is different and not everyone is going to respond to the same treatments. My advice for those in this predicament is to keep moving forward with various treatment; one day we will hit upon what works for us. Keep on keeping on. There is a solution to this!
