It's the tough times that show us who our friends really are. After Roo's big fall , I was totally overwhelmed with the outpouring of love from the people around me. Almost immediately, all 70 people in my dad's Sunday school class were praying. Prayer chains were activated all over the country! I got an text message from a friend that I'd forgotten to contact asking if he was okay. Word spread like wildfire! Even my contractor called the next morning, with the first words out of his mouth, "How's Roo?" The whole time we were at the hospital, my phone exploded with texts, voicemails & facebook posts asking about him, showing concern & support. And I'm getting emails & phone calls asking how he's healing since we were told to keep him from falling for a week b/c a second fall could damage his brain if it was already bruised.
I'm happy to share that he's just fine! No doubt in part to the prayers of some amazing prayer warriors! He's back to playing with balls, pushing around trucks, climbing on everything and making my heartbeat a little faster with each attempt!
Truck, truck, trucking
