I forgot to blog about the incident that my husband encountered in one of the branches of the leading drugstore here in the Philippines. Last week while I have a bad case of joint pains, the husband went to the drug store to buy me medicine. It happens that I don’t have any more stock of Prednisone and Biogesic. Then I told him to buy me CHLOROQUINE. He was bringing the drug prescription that Dr. I always issued to me every time I go visit him. Though I can buy pred and coumadin from the drug store without prescription.
Anyway, when he was on the drug store he called me up asking me that the pharmacist was asking him where we are going to used CHLOROQUINE. I told him that it’s for my LUPUS and the husband told me that he told them already but they don’t want to give him the drugs. After discussing, he said he’ll try to reason again with the pharmacist. Unfortunately the lady in the drug store was hesitant to give him CHOLORQUINE even if we have a doctor’s prescription. To which I found absurd. You see, I know CHLOROQUINE is really for MALARIA but we have already the doctor’s order so why not give it to us. Instead of arguing I just told the husband to go home.
Now, seems like it’s a blessing in disguise that we don’t have the drug because according to Dr. I, it isn’t safe to take it if I might be pregnant. I was thinking, is GOD telling me something already? Well, let’s wait until next week.
