Naturopathic Medicine

Posted Jun 22 2009 11:17am

When we heard of Dr. I’s verdict of not giving me either coumadin or heparin because I MIGHT be pregnant (there is not a confirmation yet, I am just being cautious you know) the husband and I have been discussing. This isn’t a new concept to us. Because as I said in my previous post I was able to survived not able to take either medicine when I was pregnant with Anevay. But of course, that time, my husband has been massaging me every night without fail because we believed that massage helps my blood circulation. So now that husband suggest I hire or call the home service massage every other day to make my blood flowing in a nice way.

Ever since I got LUPUS and realized that not all medicine can cure me, I started taking control of what I do to my health. I also started my interest on Naturopathic medicine and everyday my eagerness of it is growing. Why not since I feel my LUPUS responds very well to it and to every alternative solution that has nothing to do with taking prescription from doctors but more on the thought of mind over matter.

If only my condition right now would let me enroll into a naturopathic college, I know it would give me a full advantage in controlling my LUPUS. But I guess I have to wait until the flare subside. Hopefully by that time I also have the proper funding to take some more courses in an alternative medicine school. That would be a good way to taking control of my health!
