Cold Season = Flu Season

Posted Feb 02 2011 7:48am

Last week the little girl have a serious case of colds and cough. We had two sleepless nights and I thought with the cold season my daughter would caught the flu that is circulating in their school. I was on the watch for flu symptoms and on the edge for a couple of days.

I am really thankful that on the fourth day her cough and cold responded to the medicine that I was giving her and she did not have any fever. I was already prepared in treating the flu and have been stocking up on medicine, vitamin C and ointments. I continually massage her every night because ‘touch therapy’ really cures her colds.

As a mom, I would want everything on hand that would help me help my daughter when she is sick. Most of the time, I would used the world wide web to research on information about fever, flu, cough, colds etc. Anything that could help and also conform me. You see when my daughter is sick I grew paranoid. It really helps me to read facts to put me back to my senses. And one of those that aids me is Healthline.com. It’s a site that has a lot of medical and health related information. It’s a place that I go to when I am in stress not only about my daughter’s health but also mine.
