Mentioned as a possibility a few weeks back, the SLE Quality of Life Study is seeking additional participants (United States only), since the first round went so well.
Here's the scoop.
There is a study underway focusing on how SLE affects the family and family-related quality of life. A new quality of life instrument is being developed, and the study would like to get the thoughts of people living with SLE.
The first step is a phone interview. The call will last about 30-45 minutes, and it’s totally confidential – no personal data is collected.
If you are selected for the phone interview, you will be paid $30 for your time. Some people will also be invited to join the instrument development team, which will then allow them to provide feedback on conference calls throughout the instrument development period. If you are invited back, you will be paid again for your time.
If interested in participating in this study, call 732-235-7026 .
If you call on Monday, Wednesday or Friday, you will most likely be interviewed on the spot. If you call and get voicemail, you will be told exactly what to do to set up a time for a call later.
