My baby girl turned 5, which also marks somewhat of an anniversary of my first flare as my auto-immune conditions were triggered by my pregnancy. I am both happy & sad, as my baby is growing up. I just wish that I didn't connect her birthday with my Lupus with pulmonary hypertension, MCTD, Scleroderma, Polymyositis, etc. etc. I'm trying to separate the two things in my brain, but it is slow going.

I know that it is common for Lupus & other auto-immune diseases to be triggered by pregnancy & child birth, does anybody else out there have this same kind of connection?
