San Francisco is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the country, so naturally, itâ??s well deserving of one of the most beautiful spas. SenSpa is a 13,000-square-foot paradise for sybarites and wellness seekers, smack in the middle of the cityâ??s exclusive Presidio district, and is emblematic of the über-pampering experience thatâ??s become so rare in our â??get in and get outâ?? day and age. But as we all know, just because somethingâ??s supersized doesnâ??t always mean itâ??s necessarily betterâ??in fact, it usually leads to more noise, more crowds and a less personalized experience. Fortunately, SenSpa and its lush, tropical ambience (made even more striking, since the space is a refurbished World War I army barrack) make visitors feel like theyâ??re breathing easy in the middle of their own rainforest.
The basis of the spa is an East-meets-West philosophy called the â??Power of Three Pathsâ??: releasing, restoring and revitalizing your body, spirit and mind. Whether you want to melt over
