The trail to Arch Rock from Bear Valley (about 8 miles round trip, about 4 hours) is low/moderate difficulty with a small incline and offers a panoramic view of the ocean at the end of the trail. Have a seat here for lunch. A forest-covered trail opens up onto wide open Divide Meadow, perfect for taking a few minutes to lounge in the sun, frolic in the grass and sip water. There is also a bathroom here. A great mini-vacation from city life, but since it is low-moderate difficulty, it can be quite crowded with meandering tourists any time of the week.
