Even though there's no water in Lake Lag, the trail around it is a very nice .9 mile loop that's quiet and lovely.  You'll often see hawks circling overhead, and now and then there's a heron that hangs out.  When there's water in spring the ducks come around with their chicks, and that's fun to watch.  You might even see an occasional snake on the trail.

I used to enjoy swimming in Lake Lag, but only in the spring after it fills up, and before it gets too warm and stagnant. Anyone know if Lake Lag will be filled again this spring?

Unfortunately, there's not much hope to see water in Lake Lag!! If you want to sail at Stanford, you need to sign up for a sailing class! Classes are held Autumn and Spring Quarters!

Ride your bike to work day! (SF to San Mateo) by Dave K. Jun 01 07 4:59pm By sheer coincidence, I rode my bike to work on, well, bike to work day. We headed through the GG Park and down...
First Steps by Lis S. Jun 11 07 11:26am So, my first run didn't kill me. I didn't feel like my entire body was going to fall apart or that my lungs were on fire. My neck, ears, feet and shins all felt fine (those were the body parts that just couldn't take running in the past). In fact, at the end of my run, I felt like it was...
