The home of Kundalini Yoga in the heart of Hollywood, Golden Bridge might scare off the casual yogi due to the number of turbans and gongs, but give it a try. You just might be drawn in, because the vibe here is so positive and infectious. The teachers seem so peaceful and happy, you figure they're doing something right. Gurmukh is the celebrity guru here, and she's got a gentle vibe and a subtle glow about her. Kundalini Yoga involves a lot of chanting and repetitious movement and doesn't focus so much on flexibility as in other types of yoga classes. Because of this, Kundalini Yoga is not for everyone, but there are plenty of other offerings here for the adventurous and curious. Pre- and post-natal support is a specialty here, so you'll see a lot of pregnant woman participating as well. The space itself is fantastic, with high wooden ceilings and a modular design that allows for rooms to be created or removed using sliding walls. Overall, it is one of the more vibrant and happening yoga communities in Los A
