Fahnestock park off of the Taconic State Pkwy in Carmel NY another great daycation get away. Stay in any place on Route 9 in off of 684 and go to Fahnstock park winter, summer or fall. Visit other parks like Denning Point in Beacon NY or any of the trendy shops, restaurants either in Beacon, Carmel, Wappingers Falls or any of the stores along route 9 towards Poughkeepsie. try the bridge park in Poughkeepsie feels like you can fly over the Hudson.
