The Rossi Recreation Center is a great place for locals (or not-so-locals alike) and a wonderful insert in the neighborhood!  The center is open to the public and boasts a clean olympic-sized indoor pool with special classes and open swim for just $4, no memberships or paperwork required!  There are also tennis courts, fields, and an innovative playground for the kids.  I live just a couple blocks away and love the chance to go swimming or play tennis without having to join a gym.

My daughter, who is six, went with her godmother and watched her godmother's niece, who is an Olympic gold medalist, teach half a dozen young girls horse vaulting. It looked like quite a workout. Strength and precision is what come to mind wh...

I can't say for sure, but I have yet to wear a swim goggle that doesn't disappoint in some fashion or...
Yosemite by Kenna M. Jul 31 07 8:06am I remember waking up at Sunrise Camp in Yosemite with colorful oranges, reds, blues, greens and yellows gliding above as I looked through the tree tops. Although it was striking, the serene vision I will never forget -- not a sound -- just floating and whirling down to land close by an open field...
